Playoff Pool Rules [Re-Vised 2024]

(Same story lol)

Sign Up ends after opening kickoff of the very 1st game.

All Picks must be made before opening Kick Off of the 1st Game of the Wild Card Round.

The Playoff Pool is different from the Season Pool. In the Season Pool you pick week by week and wager points, in the Playoff Pool you pick only once, picking out the whole bracket before the playoffs start, and the points are pre-determined.

Wild Card Round: 5 Points for Each Game Correct
Divisional Round: 10 Points for Each Winner picked correct (Even if the Loser is a different team than you said, only winner matters)
AFC/NFC Championship: 25 points for picking each Champion correctly (Same as above, loser doesn't have to be same, only winner)
Super Bowl: 50 Points for Picking Super Bowl Champion (Yet again, loser doesn't matter, as long as you pick winner correct)


EXAMPLE

Wild Card Round
Pink Tacos @ Red Devils
I Pick: Pink Tacos

Divisional Round
Pink Tacos @ Purple Snakes
I Pick: Purple Snakes

Say Red Devils & Purple Snakes win
You wouldn't get the 5 from Wild Card because you got it wrong... but you'd get the 10 in Division because you picked the right winner, even though they faced Red Devils and you said Pink Tacos, only got to have winner correct.

New Bonus Points

Came up with bonus point system last season's playoffs, after they was already in progress. It's a way to still keep people able to gain something, when their mains are already gone lol. But basically instead of just picking teams, you will also predict scores with each game. Don't have to worry yourself too much about it, but basically if the total combined score of what you predicted, is within 5 points of the actual score... you will gain the bonus points for that game... which varies based on round.

Bonus Points by Round

Wild Card & Divisional Games: 5 Points each
AFC & NFC Championships: 10 Points each
Super Bowl: 20 Points
